Defect
The oil passage hole in the worm shaft of the steering gear box is improperly machined. Repeated low-speed turning or stationary steering maneuvers may cause steering effort to become excessive.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, verify the serial number of the power steering gear box and replace any identified unit with a non-defective part.

パワーステアリングギヤボックス内部のウォームシャフト油通路穴の加工に不適切なものがある。そのため、低速での旋回や据切りを繰り返すと、操舵力が過大になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該パワーステアリングギヤボックスの製造番号を確認し、該当するものは良品と交換する。
