Defect

On large sightseeing and express route buses, the mounting position of the underbody harness retaining clips is incorrect, allowing the harness to contact the pipe mounting bracket. Continued operation subjects the harness to vehicle vibration, damaging the insulation. In the worst case, engine stall and failure of lights and other electrical devices to illuminate may occur.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the clearance between the harness and the bracket and reposition the harness retaining clip where clearance is insufficient. If the harness shows damage, repair the harness.

状況

大型観光及び高速路線バスにおいて、床下ハーネスの固定クリップ取付位置が不適切なため、ハーネスが配管取付ブラケットと接触しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、車両振動等により被覆が損傷し、最悪の場合、エンジンストール及び灯火器等が不灯に至るおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該ハーネスとブラケットの隙間を確認し、少ないものはハーネス固定クリップを移動する。なお、ハーネスに損傷がある場合はハーネスを修理する。
