Defect
On large trucks equipped with an automated mechanical transmission, the floor wiring clip attachment position inside the cab is incorrect on some units, causing the wiring to contact the wheel park bracket. Continued use in this condition may cause the wiring to short circuit. In the worst case, gear selection may become impossible.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the wiring clip attachment position. If the position is incorrect, relocate the clip to the proper position. If the wiring shows damage, repair the wiring.

状況
機械式自動変速装置付き大型トラックにおいて、キャブ室内のフロア配線のクリップ取付け位置が不適切なため、当該配線がホイールパークブラケットと干渉しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、配線がショートし、最悪の場合、変速できなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該配線のクリップ取付け位置を点検し、不適切なものは、正規位置に変更する。また、配線に損傷が見られるものは、配線を修理する。
