Defect
The electrical circuit for the tail lamps and front fog lamps is improperly designed, allowing excessive current to flow through the tail lamp relay and causing the relay contacts to overheat. This overheating deforms the relay's plastic housing and connector. If the vehicle continues to be operated in this condition, a poor electrical connection may develop and the tail lamps may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, modify the fog lamp electrical circuit wiring and replace the tail lamp relay and relay socket with new units.

状況
尾灯（テールランプ）及び前部霧灯（フォグランプ）の電気回路が不適切なため、テールランプリレーを流れる電流値が大きく、リレーの接点が発熱することがある。そのため、当該部品の樹脂部及びコネクタ部が変形し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、接触不良を起こし、尾灯などが点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、フォグランプの電気回路の配線を変更するとともに、テールランプリレーとリレーソケットを新品に交換する。
