Defect
The brake booster body is improperly crimped during assembly, resulting in insufficient crimp strength. When the brake pedal is applied firmly, the crimp may separate, preventing pedal force from being transmitted to the master cylinder and causing brake failure.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the brake booster manufacturing lot number and replace any identified unit with a conforming part.

制動倍力装置のボデーのかしめが不適切なため、かしめ強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、ブレーキペダルを強く踏むとかしめが外れてブレーキペダル踏力がマスタシリンダに伝達されずブレーキが効かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、制動倍力装置の製造ロット番号を点検し、該当するものは制動倍力装置を良品に交換する。
