Defect
The headlight wiring within the main harness is routed improperly, allowing rainwater to enter at the connector between the wiring and the left headlight and travel along the inside of the wiring to accumulate inside the connector at the floor harness junction. This causes corrosion of the terminals and poor electrical contact, which in the worst case may result in the headlights failing to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the main harness with the corrected part and inspect the connector at the floor harness junction. If internal corrosion is found, replace the floor harness side connector with a new unit.

状況
メインハーネスの前照灯用電気配線において、配索が不適切なため、当該電気配線と左側前照灯とのコネクタ部より浸入した雨水等が、配線内をつたい、フロアハーネスとのコネクタ内部に溜まる場合がある。そのため、内部の端子が腐食し接触不良となり、最悪の場合、前照灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、メインハーネスを対策品と交換するとともに、フロアハーネスとのコネクタを点検し、内部が腐食しているものは、フロアハーネス側コネクタを新品に交換する。
