Defect
The bracket supporting the coolant hose of the fluid-type auxiliary brake unit mounted on the transmission has insufficient strength. Vibration during driving causes the bracket to crack and fracture. If use continues, the hose connecting the coolant lines detaches, allowing a large quantity of engine coolant to escape. This causes engine seizure and renders the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the mounting bracket. Any vehicle found to have a bracket with insufficient strength must have it replaced with a corrected part.

状況
変速機に装着されている流体式補助ブレーキ装置の冷却用水管を支持する取付け金具の強度が不足しているため、走行時の振動により当該金具が亀裂、折損するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、冷却用水管をつなぐホースが外れて、エンジン冷却水が大量に流出し、エンジンの焼付きにより走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、取付け金具を確認し、強度が不足している金具が装着されているものは、対策品と交換する。
