Defect
Inadequate process control during the soldering of the combination meter circuit board allows repeated thermal expansion and contraction of the resin case holding the LCD display unit to generate cracks in the solder joints. This causes a continuity fault in the LCD display circuit, resulting in malfunction of the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, and other displays.
Corrective action
Notify all owners of this defect. If an owner reports a display malfunction, replace the combination meter with a corrected/revised part.

状況
コンビネーションメーター内の基板はんだ付け工程の管理が不適切なため、液晶表示部を固定している樹脂ケースの熱膨張・収縮の繰り返しにより、はんだ部に亀裂が発生するものがある。そのため、液晶表示部回路が導通不良となり、速度計、走行距離計及び燃料計等が表示不良となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全使用者に対し当該不具合について周知し、表示不良の申し出があった場合はコンビネーションメーターを対策品に交換する。
