Defect
The coolant hose of the hydraulic auxiliary brake unit fitted to the transmission has insufficient durability, causing cracks to develop and the hose to detach under driving vibration and related stresses. Continued use results in a large coolant loss and, in the worst case, engine seizure that renders the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the coolant hose with a corrected part. On a subset of vehicles with a different oil cooler installation location, also replace the complete assembly of surrounding components connecting the hose with corrected parts.

状況
変速機に装着されている流体式補助制動装置の冷却ホースの耐久性が不足しているため、走行時の振動等により亀裂が発生し、また、ホースが抜けるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、エンジン冷却水が大量に流出し、最悪の場合、エンジンが焼付き、走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、冷却水ホースを対策品と交換する。また、オイルクーラーの設置場所が異なる一部の車両については、ホースをつなぐ周辺部品一式も併せて対策品と交換する。
