Defect
Some replacement front seat belt retractors were assembled with defective force limiter components. As a result, the force limiter may not function correctly during a collision, allowing the seat belt to pay out excessively and failing to meet the occupant protection performance requirements prescribed by regulation.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front right-side seat belt with a conforming unit.

状況
補修用前席シートベルトの巻取り装置において、フォースリミッタ機構の製造不良品を巻取り装置に組み付けたものがある。そのため、衝突時などの際にフォースリミッタが正常に機能せずシートベルトが引き出され、法規である乗員保護性能を満足しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前席右側シートベルトを良品に交換する。
