Defect
The auto-leveling control computer software that automatically adjusts headlight beam angle in response to changes in vehicle pitch is incorrect. When the vehicle tilts rearward — such as when all seats are occupied — the system fails to adjust the beam angle correctly. As a result, the headlight beam points upward and may glare oncoming drivers.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the auto-leveling control computer with a corrected part, then reset the vehicle pitch reference angle and readjust the headlight beam angle.

状況
前照灯において、車両姿勢が変化しても前照灯の光軸を自動調整するオートレべリング制御コンピュータのプログラムが不適切なため、全ての座席に乗員が着席する等により車両が後ろに傾いた際に、光軸が正しく調整できないことがある。そのため、光軸が上方向にずれて、対向の運転者が眩惑するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、オートレベリング制御コンピュータを対策品と交換し、車両姿勢角の初期設定と前照灯の光軸を調整する。
