Defect
An incorrect lubricant was used during manufacture of the stop lamp bulb socket. The lubricant causes an insulating deposit to form at the bulb contact, generating heat. This heat deforms the surrounding resin, and the stop lamp may fail to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected bulb socket assembly with the corrected part.

状況
制動灯のバルブ(電球)ソケット製造時に使用している潤滑剤が不適切なため、バルブの接点部に絶縁物が生成されて発熱し、当該接点部の樹脂が変形して制動灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該バルブソケット一式を対策品と交換する。
