Defect
A lubricant applied to the high-mount stop lamp during installation to the tailgate causes cracks to develop in the lamp's retaining tabs. Continued use allows the high-mount stop lamp to shift out of its mounted position on the tailgate.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, clean the high-mount stop lamp mounting area on the tailgate and replace the lamp with a corrected part from which lubricant application has been eliminated.

状況
テールゲートに固定するハイマウントストップランプに塗布したすべり剤の影響により、ハイマウントストップランプのツメ部に亀裂が発生する。そのままの状態で使用すると、ハイマウントストップランプがテールゲートの取付位置からずれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、テールゲートのハイマウントストップランプ取付部を清掃し、すべり剤塗布を廃止したハイマウントストップランプ対策品に交換する。
