Defect

During engine manufacturing inspection, test electrical wiring terminals were deformed, causing deformation of the engine-side wiring terminals on affected units. Continued use in this condition may result in a poor electrical connection at the wiring. In the worst case, the engine may stall during driving and fail to restart.

Corrective action

Install a supplemental wiring harness to the affected electrical wiring on all vehicles.

状況

エンジン製造時の検査工程において、検査用電気配線の端子部を変形させたため、エンジン側の電気配線の端子が変形しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、当該配線が接触不良となり、最悪の場合、走行中にエンストして再始動出来なくなるおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該電気配線に補助電気配線を追加する。
