Defect
The vibration-dampening rubber bonding surface on the engine's vibration-isolating crank pulley may debond and separate. This causes the outer ring of the crank pulley to detach, disabling the alternator. In the worst case, the engine stalls.
Corrective action
On all affected vehicles, inspect the bonding surface of the crank pulley vibration-dampening rubber. If separation is found, replace the pulley with the corrected part. If no separation is found, install an outer ring retention plate on the side of the crank pulley.

状況
エンジンの防振ゴム付クランクプーリの防振ゴムの接着面が剥離するものがある。そのため、当該クランクプーリのリング(外輪)が脱落し、発電機が作動しなくなり、エンジンが停止するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該クランクプーリの防振ゴムの接着面を点検し、剥離しているものは対策品のプーリと交換する。剥離していないものはクランクプーリ側面に外輪脱落防止用のプレートを装着する。
