Defect
Some fuel tank support bracket mounting bolts were tightened beyond the specified torque, generating excessive stress at the bottom of the tank. Continued use may cause a crack to develop in the tank, resulting in a fuel leak.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the fuel tank with a new unit, replace the support bracket with a corrected/revised part, and torque the mounting bolts to the specified value.

状況
燃料タンクの支持金具を固定するボルトの締付けトルクが大きいものがあるため、タンク底部に過大な応力が発生する場合がある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けるとタンクに亀裂が発生し、燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料タンクを新品に交換するとともに、支持金具を対策品と交換し、ボルトを適正トルクで締付ける。
