Defect

On large low-floor transit buses, the reinforcement plate on the front right-side air spring bracket has an incorrect shape, with some plates lacking the required cutout. As a result, the torque rod may contact the reinforcement plate, and in the worst case, the torque rod may sustain damage and fracture.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, inspect the shape of the reinforcement plate and, where the cutout is absent, machine the cutout into the plate. Any torque rod showing evidence of contact damage will be replaced with a new part.

状況

大型ノンステップ路線バスにおいて、フロント右側エアスプリングブラケットの補強板の形状が不適切なため、補強板に切り欠きがないものがある。そのため、トルクロッドが補強板と干渉することがあり、最悪の場合、トルクロッドが損傷し、折損するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該補強板の形状を確認し、切り欠きが無い場合は切り欠きを設ける。なお、トルクロッドに干渉跡があるものは、トルクロッドを新品と交換する。
