Defect
On heavy-duty trucks equipped with air spring suspension, the V-rod bushings that secure the rear axle to the frame are improperly designed, causing the snap rings retaining the bushings to disengage. Continued operation accelerates bushing wear and damages the V-rod. In the worst case, vehicle driving stability is compromised.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the V-rod with a new part.

状況
空気ばね緩衝装置付き大型トラックにおいて、後車軸を車枠に固定するＶロッドのブッシュが不適切なため、ブッシュを固定しているスナップリングが外れるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ブッシュが摩耗してＶロッドが損傷し、最悪の場合、走行安定性が損なわれるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、Ｖロッドを新品に交換する。
