Defect

The post-paint manufacturing process for the rear axle is inadequate, causing the attachment nuts securing the rear axle positioning links and shock absorbers to the axle to loosen, producing abnormal noise. Continued use in this condition can, in the worst case, allow the lower link to detach and compromise driving stability.

Corrective action

Tighten the attachment nuts on all vehicles to the specified torque.

状況

後車軸の塗装後の作業行程が不適切なため、後車軸の位置を固定するリンク及びショック アブソーバの車軸への取付ナットが緩み異音が発生し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると 、最悪の場合、ロア・リンクが外れ走行安定性を損なうおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該取付ナットを規定のトルクで締め付ける。
