Defect
On vehicles converted from leaf spring to air spring rear suspension, the stabi-linker — a combined torque rod and stabilizer link connecting the rear axle to the frame — has insufficient strength. Hard cornering may cause cracks to develop in the arm section. Continued use allows the cracks to propagate and, in the worst case, the arm section may fracture, causing the rear axle to shift and rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the stabi-linker with the corrected part.

状況
後輪緩衝装置を板ばね式から空気ばね式に改造した車両において、後車軸と車枠を連結しているスタビリンカ(トルクロッドとスタビライザーの機能を兼ね備えたもの)の強度が不足しているため、急旋回走行を行なうとアーム部に亀裂が生じるものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、亀裂が進行し、最悪の場合、当該アーム部が破損し、後車軸がずれて走行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スタビリンカを対策品と交換する。
