Defect
On vehicles equipped with automatic doors, the capacity rating of the automatic open/close switch is incorrectly specified. If the switch is operated while the door is in motion, arc discharge occurs at the contacts, causing contact wear and the generation of wear particles. With continued use, accumulated wear particles may bridge the contacts and create electrical continuity due to vibration. In the worst case, the door may open or close suddenly without input.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, add supplemental electrical wiring and replace the automatic open/close switch with the corrected part.

状況
自動ドア付車において、自動開閉スイッチの容量設定が不適切なため、ドアの開閉途中に開閉スイッチの操作を行った場合、アーク放電が発生し、接点が摩耗して摩耗粉が発生するものがある。そのため、そのまま使用を続けると、摩耗粉が堆積して、振動等により接点間が導通し、最悪の場合、突然ドアが開閉するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、接続用電気配線を追加し、自動開閉スイッチを対策品と交換する。
