Defect
The power supply terminal layout of the blower motor is incorrect, allowing conductive foreign material to accumulate on the terminal section. Continued use causes the accumulated material to create a short circuit, melting the terminal and rendering the defroster inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a short-circuit prevention cover is added to the terminal section.

状況
ブロアモーター（送風機）の電源供給端子の配置が不適切なため、導電異物が端子部に堆積するものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、堆積した異物により短絡して端子が溶断し、デフロスタが作動しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、端子部に短絡防止用カバーを追加する。
