Defect
The motor control software in certain hybrid vehicles is incorrect. If the motor rotation sensor wire breaks, the software fails to detect the disconnection, causing the motor to run erratically. Continued use may result in the motor accelerating without stopping.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reprogram the motor control software.

状況
ハイブリッド自動車の電動機（モータ）の制御プログラムが不適切ため、電動機の回転センサーが断線した場合に断線を検知せず、電動機の回転が不安定になるものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、最悪の場合、電動機が加速し続けるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、電動機の制御プログラムを変更する
