Defect
The propeller shaft in the power transfer assembly was manufactured using an improper machining process, resulting in insufficient strength on some units. Continued use can cause a crack to develop at the yoke section of the propeller shaft. In the worst case, the propeller shaft may fracture, leaving the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected propeller shaft with a conforming part.

状況
動力伝達装置のプロペラシャフトの加工処理が不適切なため、強度が不足しているものがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、プロペラシャフトのヨーク部に亀裂が発生し、最悪の場合、当該プロペラシャフトが折損して、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該プロペラシャフトを良品と交換する。
