Defect
The door harness for the power window and related systems is improperly routed, allowing it to contact the electrical wiring for the turn signals and hazard warning lamps. Repeated opening and closing of the door causes the wiring to develop a broken wire, which may result in the turn signals and hazard warning lamps failing to illuminate.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, a protective cap is added to the affected wiring and a protective tube is added to the door harness. If the door harness or affected wiring is found to be damaged, it is repaired.

状況
パワーウインドウ等のドアハーネスの取り回しが不適切なため、方向指示器及び非常点滅表示灯用電気配線と当該ハーネスが干渉するものがある。そのため、ドアの開閉の繰返しにより当該配線が断線し、方向指示器及び非常点滅表示灯が点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該配線に保護キャップを追加すると共に、ドアハーネスに保護チューブを追加する。 なお、ドアハーネス又は当該配線に損傷がある場合は補修を行なう。
