Defect

On the front axle outer bearing assembly, the inner bearing on some vehicles was assembled with an incorrect specification bearing. If contamination enters during maintenance or service and the vehicle continues to be operated, the bearing may sustain damage. In the worst case, the brake may overheat and catch fire.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the affected bearing with the correct specification bearing. For configuration ①, both the front and rear shafts of the front axle are subject to this recall. For configuration ②, only the front shaft of the front axle is subject to this recall.

状況

 フロントアクスルの外側ベアリングにおいて、インナー側のベアリングに仕様が異なる ものを組み付けたものがある。そのため、整備作業等の際に異物が混入した状態で使用を 続けると、ベアリングが損傷し、最悪の場合、ブレーキが加熱して発火するおそれがある 。

改善措置

全車両、正規のベアリングに交換する。 ①は、フロントアクスルの前軸と後軸の2軸が対象。 ②は、フロントアクスルの前軸の1軸が対象。
