Defect
The leaf spring movable contact inside the brake lamp actuating switch is improperly assembled. Repeated brake applications may cause the leaf spring to fracture. Fragments from the fractured spring may hold the brake lamp in a permanently illuminated state or prevent it from illuminating at all.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected actuating switch with a conforming part.

状況
制動灯の作動スイッチ内部の可動接点である板ばねの組み付けが不適切なため、制動操 作を繰り返し行うと当該板ばねが折損するものがある。そのため、制動灯が折損した破片 によって点灯したままの状態になる又は点灯しなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該作動スイッチを良品と交換する。
