Issue

The hydraulic line attached to the power steering hydraulic pump is improperly routed. Engine movement during travel over rough or uneven road surfaces causes cracks to develop in the joint fitting at the line attachment point. Power steering oil then gradually leaks from the joint fitting, increasing steering effort required to operate the steering wheel.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the hydraulic line with a corrected part.

状況

 パワーステアリング用油圧ポンプに取付けられている油圧配管の形状が不適切なため、 凹凸路面走行時等のエンジンの振れにより当該配管取付け部の継手金具に亀裂が発生する ことがある。そのため、継手金具からパワーステアリングオイルが徐々に漏れてハンドル の操作力が増大するおそれがある。

改善措置

 全車両、当該油圧配管を対策品と交換する。
