Defect
The spindle of the retractor in the two-point seat belt fitted to the second-row rotating bench seat is improperly shaped, causing the belt lock mechanism to fail to engage on some units. In a collision or similar impact, the belt may be unable to restrain the occupant or a child seat. Additionally, if the belt is forcibly extended during child seat installation, internal components may break, preventing the belt from retracting.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected seat belt assembly with a conforming part.

状況
２列目の回転式ベンチシートに備えた２点式座席ベルトの巻取装置のスピンドル部の形 状が不適切なため、ベルトのロック機構が作動しないものがある。そのため、衝突等によ る衝撃を受けた場合、乗員またはチャイルドシートを拘束できなくなるおそれがある。ま たは、チャイルドシート取付け時に、ベルトを無理に引き出した場合に内部部品が破損し 、ベルトが巻取れなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該座席ベルト一式を良品に交換する。
