Defect
In the Active Stability Control system (ASC), the diaphragm inside the gas-charged accumulator mounted on the ASC hydraulic unit has insufficient durability. Continued use allows the sealed gas to migrate into the brake fluid, causing the driver to feel a loss of force transfer when applying the brake pedal. In the worst case, braking force is reduced.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the complete system that includes the ASC hydraulic unit with a gas-charged accumulator with a corrected/revised system that does not use a gas-charged accumulator.

状況
制動装置の車両挙動制御機能(アクティブ スタビリティ コントロールシステム :ASC)において、ASC油圧ユニットに取り付けられているガス封入式アキュムレータ内部 のダイヤフラムの耐久性が不足しているものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続ける と、アキュムレータ内の封入ガスがブレーキ液中に混入することがあり、ブレーキペダル操 作時に操作力が伝わらない感じがし、最悪の場合、制動力が低下するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該アキュムレータを使用したASC油圧ユニットを含む構成システムを対策品( ガス封入式アキュムレータを使用しないシステム)と交換する。
