Defect
A non-conforming step in the manufacturing process allows marking ink to become trapped between the sealing washer and the fuel pipe seating surface. The fuel dissolves the ink, causing the washer to partially deform. In the worst case, fuel leaks from the fuel pipe fitting.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. On any unit with improper marking, clean the fuel pipe seating surface and replace the sealing washer with a new part.

状況
原動機の燃料供給装置において、製造工程における作業に適切でないものがあるため、シ ーリングワッシャーと燃料パイプの間に印付け用インクが挟まり、このインクが燃料によ り溶け当該ワッシャーが部分的に窪み、最悪の場合、燃料パイプ部より燃料が漏れるおそ れがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、印が不適切なものは燃料パイプの座面を清掃し、新品のシーリングワッシ ャーと交換する。
