Defect
The circuit board design of the audio head unit is improper, causing the board to operate at elevated temperatures. Continued operation degrades the capacitors, leading to a short circuit between terminals. In the worst case, the speaker may catch fire.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles. On any vehicle fitted with the affected audio unit, replace the affected circuit board in the audio head unit with the corrected part.

状況
音響機器のオーディオ本体の配線基板において、当該基板の設計が不適切なため、配線基 板の温度が高くなり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、コンデンサが劣化して端子間が 短絡し、最悪の場合、スピーカが発火するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、対象となるオーディオが装着されているものは、オーディオ本体の当該基 板を対策品と交換する。
