Defect
In the automatic transmission, the sealing method for the shift gear shaft sealing bolt is incorrect. During high-speed driving, repeated flexing at the junction between the reduction gear and the shaft causes the bolt sealant to loosen. In the worst case, the reduction gear shaft may disengage, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the sealing bolt with a revised part that uses an O-ring in place of sealant.

状況
自動変速機において、変速ギヤ用シャフトのシーリングボルトのシール方法が不適切なた め、高速走行時に減速ギヤとシャフトの連結部がたわむことにより、当該シーリングボル トのシール剤が繰り返し衝撃を受けてゆるみ、最悪の場合、減速ギヤ用シャフトが抜け走 行不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シール剤をOリングに変更したシーリングボルトと交換する。
