Defect
The ball joint of the front lower arm in the suspension system was manufactured with improper spherical machining on its internal surface. Continued use causes abnormal wear inside the ball joint. In the worst case, the ball joint may separate and the vehicle may become inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the ball joint assembly with a corrected part.

緩衝装置の前輪ロア・アームのボールジョイントにおいて、当該ボールジョイント内部の 球面加工に不適切なものがあるため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、ボールジョイン ト内部が異常摩耗し、最悪の場合、ボールジョイントが外れ、走行不能になるおそれがあ る。
改善措置
全車両、当該ボールジョイント（組立完成品）を対策品と交換する。
