Defect
On vehicles equipped with a work-use accelerator, when the driving accelerator is opened to near full throttle, the throttle cable may contact the fuel system piping after being pushed by an aftermarket guide pin installed on the throttle lever. This guide pin was added to prevent slack in the throttle cable when the work-use accelerator is operated. Continued use in this condition can damage the fuel line and, in the worst case, cause a fuel leak leading to a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, remove the guide pin and reposition the work-use accelerator cable attachment point. Any fuel system pipes found to be damaged must be replaced with new parts.

状況
作業用装置を架装した車両の加速装置において、走行用アクセルを全開付近にすると、ス ロトルケーブルが作業用アクセル装着車に後付けされたガイドピン（作業用アクセルを操 作した時に発生するスロットルケーブルの弛みを防止するため、スロットルレバーに後付 けされたもの）に押されることにより燃料装置の配管に接触することがあり、そのままの 状態で使用を続けると当該配管が損傷し、最悪の場合、燃料が漏れ、火災に至るおそれ がある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ガイドピンの除去とともに作業用アクセルケーブルの取付位置を変更する。 又、燃料装置の配管に損傷のあるものは、良品と交換する。
