Defect
The valve spring seat in the brake booster vacuum pump is improperly assembled on some units. When the engine is stopped, reverse airflow may displace the valve spring seat. In the worst case, this prevents the valve from functioning, causing brake pedal effort to increase above normal.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the affected vacuum pump with the corrected part.

状況
ブレーキ倍力装置のバキュームポンプにおいて、バルブスプリングシートの組付けに不適 切なものがあり、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、原動機停止時の空気の逆流により、 当該バルブスプリングシートがずれて、最悪の場合、バルブが作動しなくなり、ブレーキ ペダルの踏力が通常より重くなる。
改善措置
