Defect
In the front wheel brake, the inner wire is cast into the cable end at an incorrect position due to improper assembly. Repeated operation of the parking lever — used when stopping or parking on slopes — causes the cable end to fracture. In the worst case, the front wheel brake may become ineffective.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the front wheel brake cable with a conforming replacement unit.

状況
前輪ブレーキにおいて、ケーブルエンドへのインナワイヤ鋳込み位置が不適切なため、坂道などの駐停車時に使用するパーキングレバーの操作を繰り返し行うと、ケーブルエンドが破損し、前輪ブレーキが利かなくなるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、前輪用ブレーキケーブルを良品と交換する。
