Issue
On vehicles equipped with a cabin air conditioning system, operating the compressor at high speed while refrigerant level is insufficient causes compressor seizure. In the worst case, this may result in a vehicle fire.
Corrective action
Inspect all affected vehicles for remaining refrigerant level and compressor leaks. If the refrigerant level is at or below the specified threshold (50%) or if a leak is present, replace the compressor with a corrected part. If the refrigerant level is within specification, recharge the refrigerant.

状況
車室内空気調整装置(エアコン)装着車において、冷媒液不足の状態で高回転運転を行っ た場合、当該エアコンの圧縮機が焼き付き、最悪の場合、発火にいたるおそれがある。
改善措置
エアコン装着車について、冷媒液残量や圧縮機の漏れ等を点検し、冷媒液量が規定(50 %)以下もしくは、漏れ等があるものついては圧縮機を良品と交換する。なお、冷媒液残 量が規定内のものについては、冷媒液を充填する。
