Defect
The ball surface of the lower ball joint connecting the front lower arm to the knuckle arm was insufficiently finished on some units. Continued use in this condition may cause abnormal wear of the joint's resin seat. In the worst case, the lower ball joint may separate from the knuckle arm, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the lower ball joint (with knuckle arm) with a non-defective unit.

状況
前輪のロアア-ムとナックルア-ムを連結している継手(ロアボ-ルジョイント)の球 部表面に仕上げの粗いものがあるため、このままの状態で使用を続けると、当該ロアボ- ルジョイントの樹脂製シ-トが異常に摩耗し、最悪の場合、ロアボ-ルジョイントがナッ クルア-ムから外れ、走行不能に至るおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、当該ロアボ-ルジョイント(ナックルア-ム付き)を良品と交換する。
