Issue
In the airbag inflator used in motorcycle airbag systems, repeated cycles of ambient temperature and humidity change may degrade the gas generant. During airbag deployment, this degradation can cause abnormal pressure buildup inside the inflator, which may rupture the inflator housing.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, the motorcycle airbag module is replaced with a corrected part. As an interim measure while replacement parts are being prepared, the airbag function is disabled, the airbag warning lamp is illuminated, and a warning indicating that the airbag will not deploy is displayed on the airbag module cover.

状況
二輪車用エアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、環境温度および湿度変化の繰り返しによりガス発生剤が劣化することがある。そのため、エアバッグ展開時にインフレータ内圧が異常上昇して、インフレータ容器が破損するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、二輪車用エアバッグモジュールを対策品と交換する。 なお、部品の準備に時間を要することから、当面の暫定措置としてエアバッグの機能を停止するとともに、エアバッグ警告灯を点灯させ、エアバッグモジュールカバーに該当エアバッグが作動しない旨の警告を表示する。
