Issue
On minibuses, the automatic transmission fail-safe control program is improperly designed. When the vehicle speed sensor malfunctions, the fail-safe function does not activate, allowing the transmission to abruptly downshift to a low gear while the vehicle is in motion. In the worst case, this causes sudden deceleration while driving.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the automatic transmission ECU with a corrected part.

状況
小型バスにおいて、自動変速機のフェールセーフ制御プログラムが不適切なため、車速センサが異常となった場合にフェールセーフが作動せず、走行中に急に低速段へ変速することがある。そのため、最悪の場合、走行中に急減速するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、自動変速機ＥＣＵを対策品に交換する。
