Issue
The exhaust pipe is improperly oriented, causing exhaust gases to overheat the underrun protection device during stationary diesel particulate filter (DPF) regeneration cycles. If a pedestrian or bystander inadvertently contacts the underrun protection device, burns may result.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, reorient the exhaust pipe and add a heat shield to the underrun protection device.

状況
排気管の向きが不適切なため、停車した状態で粒子状物質低減装置(DPF)の再生時に排気ガスにより突入防止装置が過熱されるものがある。そのため、歩行者等が誤って突入防止装置に触れた場合に火傷するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、排気管の向きに変更するとともに、突入防止装置に遮熱板を追加する。
