Defect
On vehicles equipped with an automatic headlamp leveling system, some low-beam headlamps were not subjected to aiming adjustment during production. As a result, the beam axis deviates from the specified orientation and the headlamps may not conform to Safety Standards.
Corrective action
Inspect the low-beam headlamp aim on all vehicles and adjust any out-of-specification lamps to within the specified value.

状況
自動式の前照灯照射方向調節装置付きのすれ違い用前照灯において、光軸調整が実施されていないものがあるため、照射方向が基準から外れたものがある。そのため、前照灯に係る保安基準に適合しないおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、すれ違い用前照灯の光軸点検を行い、基準を外れるものについて基準値内に調整する。
