Issue
Vehicles are equipped with a device that limits rearward brake pedal travel during a frontal collision. In a frontal collision that does not render the vehicle inoperable, this device may activate inadvertently. If the vehicle is driven after such a collision, braking effectiveness may be lost in the worst case.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the brake pedal unit assembly with a corrected part.

状況
前面衝突時にブレーキペダルの後方移動量を低減する装置において、走行不能に至らない程度の前面衝突時に、当該装置が作動する場合がある。そのため、前面衝突後に走行すると、最悪の場合、制動不能となるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、ブレーキペダルユニット一式を対策品と交換する。
