Issue
The resin guide on the shift-lock release link in automatic transmission vehicles was molded to an incorrect shape. The link may catch on the guide and fail to return, leaving the shift lock disengaged. As a result, the gear selector may be movable out of Park without the brake pedal being depressed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the shift-lock release link for proper operation and replace any defective link with a corrected part.

改善措置
全車両、シフトロック解除用リンクの作動状態を点検し、作動の悪いものは対策品と交 換する。
