Issue
The resin guide on the shift-lock release link in automatic transmission vehicles was molded to an incorrect shape. The link may catch on the guide and fail to return, leaving the shift lock disengaged. As a result, the gear selector may be movable out of Park without the brake pedal being depressed.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, inspect the shift-lock release link for proper operation and replace any defective link with a corrected part.

状況
オートマチック車のシフトロック機能を解除するリンクの樹脂製ガイド部の成型形状が 不適切なため、リンクがガイド部に引っ掛かり、リンクが戻らず、シフトロックが解除さ れたままになるものがある。そのため、ブレーキペダルを踏まなくても、Ｐレンジからシ フトレバーを操作できるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、シフトロック解除用リンクの作動状態を点検し、作動の悪いものは対策品と交 換する。
