Issue

During vehicle manufacturing, some power steering hydraulic pipes were deformed, causing them to contact the turbocharger cooling water pipes. Continued use in this condition may damage the hydraulic pipe. In the worst case, power steering oil leaks, increasing steering effort.

Corrective action

On all vehicles, replace the hydraulic pipe with the corrected/revised part. Any cooling water pipes found to be damaged are also replaced with new parts.

状況

かじ取り装置において、パワー・ステアリング油圧配管を車両製造時に変形させたものが あるため、当該油圧配管と過給機等の冷却用水配管が接触するものがあり、そのままの状 態で使用を続けると、油圧配管が損傷し、最悪の場合、パワー・ステアリングオイルが漏 れ、かじ取りハンドルの操作力が増大するおそれがある。

改善措置

全車両、当該油圧配管を対策品に交換するとともに、冷却水配管が損傷しているものは新 品と交換する。
