Defect
In the power transmission system, the differential unit flange is improperly fastened, resulting in insufficient flange nut torque. The flange loosens and produces abnormal noise. Continued use may cause the propeller shaft to separate from the differential unit, rendering the vehicle inoperable.
Corrective action
Inspect all vehicles and retorque the flange nut to the specified value. Any damaged components must be replaced with new parts.

状況
動力伝達装置において、差動装置(デファレンシャルユニット)のフランジの締結方法が 不適切なため、フランジナットの締付けトルクが不十分となりフランジが弛み異音が発生 し、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、プロペラシャフトが差動装置から外れ、走行不能 になるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両点検し、正規トルクで締付ける。なお、損傷している部品は新品と交換する。
