Defect
On wheelchair-accessible vehicles, an improper fuel tank airtightness inspection procedure during the manufacturing process allowed the check valve on the evaporative emission control system line—built into the fuel pump—to become dislodged on some units. If the fuel tank is overfilled, fuel flows from the tank into the canister and, in the worst case, may leak out of the canister.
Corrective action
Replace the fuel pump with a conforming unit and replace the canister with a new part on all affected vehicles.

状況
車いす移動車において、燃料タンクの気密検査工程が不適切なため、燃料ポンプに内蔵された燃料蒸発ガス排出抑止装置配管の逆止弁が脱落しているものがある。そのため、燃料を過給油すると、燃料タンクからキャニスタ内に燃料が流入し、最悪の場合、キャニスタから燃料が漏れるおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、燃料ポンプを良品と交換するとともに、キャニスタを新品と交換する。
