Defect
Field-returned driver-side SRS airbag inflators were found to exhibit abnormal internal canister pressure output that may lead to abnormal deployment. Although the root cause has not been determined, inflators of the same type manufactured up to a certain date will be replaced as a precautionary measure.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, as a precautionary measure, replace the driver-side SRS airbag inflator with a new unit, prioritizing vehicles by age of manufacture, and collect the removed inflators for defect cause investigation.

状況
運転者席側ＳＲＳエアバッグのインフレータ（膨張装置）において、市場から回収したものから、異常展開に繋がるおそれがあるインフレータ容器内圧の異常出力が認められた。このため、原因は判明していないが、一定の期間までに製造した同タイプのインフレータについて、予防的措置として当該インフレータを新品に交換する。
改善措置
全車両、予防的措置として、運転者席側ＳＲＳエアバッグインフレータを年式の古いものから新品と順次交換、回収して不具合原因調査を実施する。
