Defect
The shape of the rear mounting bracket on the spare tire carrier is incorrect. Variation in the mounting angle at the front attachment point, combined with vibration during vehicle operation, may cause cracks to develop at the rear mounting point of the spare tire carrier. Continued use may cause the rear mounting point to break, allowing the spare tire to detach from the vehicle.
Corrective action
On all vehicles, replace the spare tire carrier and the rear mounting bracket with corrected parts.

状況
スペアタイヤキャリアの後側取付金具の形状が不適切なため、スペアタイヤキャリア前側取付部の取付角度のばらつきおよび走行中の振動等でスペアタイヤキャリア後側取付部に亀裂が生じることがある。そのため、そのままの状態で使用を続けると、スペアタイヤキャリア後側取付部が破損して、スペアタイヤが脱落するおそれがある。
改善措置
全車両、スペアタイヤキャリアおよびスペアタイヤキャリア後側取付金具を対策品と交換する。
